I just spent 20 minutes trying to write a post and failed.. didnt make it further than this.
Story of my life..
Sorry for the silence.. I’m once again submerged in massive amounts of work combined with a malfunctioning head and body. To top it off I’m going to Falls Creek this weekend to do some skiing which I at the moment dont have time for..
Sucks to be me.. =(
A couple of trips to the snow and a surftrip has given me the cold of a lifetime. Having spent three weeks coughing and feeling crook I finally caved in yesterday and went to see a doctor.. after three minutes he took on a facemask and prescribed medicines that makes me feel even worse. Now I remember why I dont go to doctors..
If you ever get the idea to suit up in a size 6 childrens outfit for a dress-up party.. abandon the idea straight away. Leave it, go on with your life. Trust me, it’s an even worse idea than what it sounds like and it sounds horrible.. all hypothetically speaking of course.. hrrm..
No.. I wont show the pictures..
Another weekend spent away from Melbourne.. a couple of hours after handing the keys for my room I headed south with the La Trobe Surfclub to Phillip Island to do some surfing. Despite cold water and chilly onshore winds we had a kick-ass time in the surf.
..and yes, me and Ted skipped the busride and took the Kingswood down. Gotta love a car on which you can strap 6 longboards on the roof without problems.
Yay.. my lease ends in 15 minutes, after that I’ll be officially homeless until monday morning when I sign my name on the new lease. Finally..
Since I’m moving house on friday I moved all my stuff today except for the bare essentials I need for the next days. Everything fit into two sportstrunks and two boardbags and I hardly needed to put down the seats in the Kingswood.. in two days I’ll finally leave this dump.
Riding public transport in this city is like trying to find humanitarian aspects in the US foreign policy.. to get rid of that pain me and Ted bought a car today, a 1977 Holden Kingswood stationwagon (with a big V6 engine) that Ted found on the internet after a couple of days of hardcore ad-reading.
Did I mention that it sounds like a tank crossbred with a fishingboat with a throatache? It does.. =)
