This saturday was spent fishing with Stille and Joel at Bjevrödsdammen. I managed to hook a 2kg salmon trout and got it ashore, so far so good. When attempting to get a grip on the fish I slipped when it started to wriggle and a hook managed to get stuck in the joint of my right thumb. Since the fish pulled with all its strength in the other direction, the hook got pulled into my finger quite bad. After a few minutes wrestling we managed go free me from the fish, although the lure was still stuck to my thumb. Pain.. A visit at the emergencyroom in Eslöv took care not only of that but also provided a much needed anaesthesia shot which was more than welcome. No artwork for me for a week.. my hand needs rest.

But still.. “A bad day at fishing is better than a good day at the office.. =).. Big shoutouts to my homeboys for taking me the hospital and stuff, I owe you one guys..

The past few days have seen a complete breakdown in my mailhandling due to breakage in the software at my ISP. The good thing is that a few hours with my elbows deep in data managed to fix it all back to normal, not equally good is that it took me around three days to notice so a lot of mail got lost in the process. On top of that, my answering machine has started to behave like something running Windows 95.. spontaneous reboots and close to no functionality left. Totally bad communication karma since I dont own a cellphone and rely completely on these two gadgets to enable people to get in touch with me.. I guess breaking things and having noone really notice proves youre not the most popular kid in the class..

The gallery has been updated with some of my recent handdrawn and stencilbased works. I’ll hopefully get around to hack together a decent gallery this weekend.

Another weekend passed by without much happening. Spent saturday with some spraycans and some blank cd-covers which turned out quite nice and started working on two new stencils, one that will be hitting a shirt tomorrow and one which will take forever to cut =) The latter one is for a canvas that I hope to be able to paint soon. I borrowed a digitalcamera today so I’ll post some pictures of my work this week..

Lecture starts in a few hours.. I horribly need sleep.. over and kaviartub.

It’s been a while since I updated my data presence here on the Rastplats.. School, boardmeetings and work has occupied most of my time lately.. the spare time between those tasks has been spent drawing and cutting stencils, it feels good to be back armed with pencils, markers, knives and spraycans doing art again. I did my first real stencilpiece last weekend, a tshirt print as a gift for my homeboy Joel which turned out quite nice, photos will be added soon!
