goto blip-blop data land

Friday, July 30th, 2004

The Little Computer People experience will commence in a few hours, kicking off with a relaxed ride to Linköping with the 8-bit homeboys.. time to live on crappy food, cheap beer, non-shower smells and soft datavibes for an entire weekend. This is gonna rock so unbelievably hard you’ll be able to climb it.

For those of you left behind, Stencil Revolution should keep you busy. Streetart make the city come alive, feel cozy and welcome you home.

Technology meltdown

Ever since quitting my dayjob I’ve been kicking it without a mobile phone and been happy about it.. and least most of the time. Until today. Not anymore. Not after seeing the Pokia crew. Imagine chilling around the hood with one of those bad bakelite muthas! Too hot for TV!

Yesterday saw a laidback 8-bit hardware session with Mister DJ.. a total of four good old commies was turned from siliconscrap to data without us toasting a single one (hey, theres a first for everything!) The cozy demoparty feeling is entering the complex.

Summer madness

Sunday, July 25th, 2004

This summer is shaping up to be a great one despite that we’ve had like 2 hours of sun since May.. the sun has lately been shining in it’s best midsummer-crayfishparty-strawberrymood straight on me =) Life is good, and now for some coffee..

Little Computer People a gogo

Friday, July 23rd, 2004

Yay! The travel arrangements for Little Computer People finally came together today! In a matter of days I’ll be doing some serious chillin with the crazy databoys in blue at the scene in Linköping. Big-ups to good old Taper who not only fixed the ride but also woke me up with this delightful piece of news today.

Doing about 0km/h

Spent an incredibly relaxed afternoon with my homeboy DJ Ricci which painfully reminded me that my recordplayer is broke and is in need of some TLC. Real music comes in 12 inch packages of black material! We also reached the conclusion that far too many coffeeshops close far too early in the evening, something we seem to be surprised by every time we hang out for espresso..

environmental ranting

Tuesday, July 20th, 2004

Finally got around to polishing up an old essay I wrote last summer for the class in environmental ethics I took at the philosophical institution in Lund. In it I discuss an article by Ranji Kothari about sustainable development and the solutions he brings forward. Read it below in spicy PDF format but beware, it is written in Swedish..

Today was the first day in three weeks without rain and with temperatures at 20 ° C and above, nature vs. greenhouseeffect 0-1.
